Edinburgh CND – Digital Consultant Post

Edinburgh Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament (CND) is seeking a Digital Consultant to develop and maintain our website and social media to enhance the reach of the group by enabling more effective campaigning and involving new members.

At present we have a website hosted by wordpress. We are looking for someone to maintain it and develop the content eg by commissioning blogs etc.

On social media we have X and Meta accounts, with the intention to open on Instagram and Bluesky too.

As part of Scottish CND, Edinburgh CND can link with their digital presence.

Candidates are invited to submit a brief resume summarising their relevant skills and experience, also their ideas for raising the digital profile of Edinburgh CND. Deadline for applications is Friday 14th August 2025

The Digital Consultant role is expected to last one year, averaging one hour per week (on average-flexible working). £20 per hour. 

We will review at one month, 3 months, 6 months and one year. The role may be extended for a further year subject to the agreement of both parties.
