Plants for peace 2025 – 7th and 8th June
The Edinburgh CND stall will be at the Meadows Festival again this year. We’ll have campaign material, hundreds of plants for sale and a bookstall. Hope to see you there, this will be the last year that we’ll be doing the plant sale.
Lakenheath Protest
Edinburgh CND is organising a delegation to Lakenheath where it’s likely that US nuclear weapons are already being stored. The protest lasts a fortnight from 14th – 26th April, however it’s most likely that we will be there from 24 – 26th. We would like to reduce the cost of travel by hiring a mini-bus or similar but we need to know numbers. In memory of Eileen Cook
7 October was the third anniversary of the death of our long-time secretary Eileen Cook. On 7 October 2024 we planted an apple tree in her memory at Lauriston Farm.
